We'll review the panel configuration, accessibility, roof and site conditions, service requirements, and any known bird or animal activity. Every property is different. Service is subject to P2G determining that the work can be performed safely and effectively using our available equipment and methods.



Step 4 > WE COMPLETE THE SERVICE

For accepted projects, we'll complete the agreed cleaning, critter guard installation, or combination of services using methods appropriate for the property and solar array.


Step 5 > WE PERFORM A FINAL VISUAL CHECK

We'll visually review the completed work and identify any concerns observed during service that may require the attention of the homeowner, solar provider, roofer, pest-control professional, or another qualified contractor.

  • WHY SHOULD SOLAR PANELS BE CLEANED?

    Solar panels are continuously exposed to dust, dirt, pollen, bird droppings, and other environmental debris. Periodic cleaning can remove accumulated surface material and help keep the array maintained. P2G does not guarantee a specific increase in solar production, efficiency, or energy savings because of cleaning.

  • WHAT IS CRITTER GUARD?

    Critter guard is protective mesh installed around the perimeter of a solar array to help discourage birds and other small animals from accessing the protected area underneath the panels.


  • DOES CRITTER GUARD ACTUALLY PREVENT BIRDS OR ANIMALS?

    No barrier is 100% effective meaning that animals will never find another point of access. Critter guard is intended to act as a deterrent discouraging access to protected areas beneath the solar array when installed around the accessible perimeter.


  • DO I NEED BOTH SERVICES?

    Not necessarily. Some customers may only need their panels cleaned. Others may be experiencing bird activity beneath the array and primarily need critter guard. In some cases, customers need both. Services can be requested individually or together.


  • WHAT IF BIRDS HAVE ALREADY BUILT NESTS UNDER MY PANELS?

    Let us know before scheduling and include photos when possible. Existing nests, animals, significant accumulated debris, or other conditions may require additional evaluation or services outside P2G's normal cleaning and critter guard scope. P2G will not disturb animals, nests, or other conditions when doing so would be unsafe or inappropriate.


  • DO YOU CLEAN UNDER THE SOLAR PANELS?

    Accessible loose debris and cobwebs may be addressed when practical as part of the agreed scope. Access beneath rooftop solar arrays can be limited, and panels are not removed to perform cleaning.


  • WILL YOU WALK ON MY ROOF?

    Sometimes but not necessarily. Our preferred approach is to perform work from the ground or another safe working position whenever practical. Roof configuration, pitch, surface material, height, panel placement, weather, access, and other site conditions are evaluated before work is performed. P2G may decline work when safe access cannot be reasonably established.


  • DO YOU REMOVE OR DISCONNECT SOLAR PANELS?

    No. Solar panel removal, electrical disconnection, system repair, and solar installation are outside the normal scope of this service.


  • CAN YOU REPAIR MY SOLAR SYSTEM OR ROOF?

    Not typically. If we observe something that appears to require repair, we'll bring it to your attention so you can contact the appropriate solar, electrical, or roofing professional.


  • CAN YOU GUARANTEE THAT CLEANING WILL LOWER MY ELECTRIC BILL?

    No. Solar production and electricity costs are affected by many factors. P2G provides cleaning services but does not guarantee specific energy-production or financial results.
